I’m a complete novice to playing blackjack I’m talking 3 days, most of you guys here will be experienced and laugh at this but I hope someone new to it like myself benefits from what happened to me.

The long story short is that I deposited £360 for my first session & I built it up to £5k that same day
I was feeling on top of the world, thinking about all the nice things I can now afford to do for my family etc then I hit a loosing steak!
(around 10 hands) when I was told it never really happens more than 6 times in a row by my friend so that’s what was in my mind..stupidly.

I was told about progressive betting, to anyone else who is also new to this please realise that if you’re planning on riding out the losses by doubling your bet each time then understand how fast things can go out of control!

So I thought when I try this again I’ll make sure that I have the money to handle a 20 loss streak, sounds extreme but after some research it happens, so be very careful with this strategy!

when it works it’s amazing but when it fails you dig a hole that’s impossible to get out of!

At the point of realising the strategy has failed you, you’re down to your last hand.
