How Casinos Keep Their Money Safe

Nothin like hittin’ it big at the casino. We all know the feeling– placing that bet, watching those slots spin and spin and spin until finally… it stops and…. You didn’t win. Hey, as long as you only gamble what you are willing to lose, you can’t go wrong! Why not try again, right? Eventually you’re bound to finally win one! But when you go to collect your winnings… have you ever wondered just where in the heck that money was being stored? And how it’s being kept safe? After all, in many regions there are laws and regulations that are in place that mandate casinos to keep enough money in reserves on their premises so that they can cover all the winnings for the day– right then and there. So… if there’s all that money on site… just how do casinos make sure no one takes it? That’s what we are finding out today as we take a look inside the vaults and security measures taken by casinos around the globe. From the floor security team, to the “eye in the sky” room full of security monitors that utilized a closed circuit television system, to just what goes into setting up that back room vault– including a look at all of the unique and frankly, pretty incredible, security measures that are designed into the vault itself, we are taking a quick look at it all in today’s video.
